What are shared branches?

Lending | Home Improvement Loans

Home Improvement loans can finance that new pool, a room addition to the house, remodeling, a new roof or whatever your house might need. Here are some points to remember:

  • A member can borrow up to 90% of the equity in the property.
  • The improvements must be done on the borrower’s primary homestead.
  • All work must be done by a contractor.

The credit union will file a second lien on the member’s property in the county where the home is located. Interest paid on this loan may be tax deductible. Check with your individual tax preparer.

Don't hesitate to contact us online, give us a call at 832.201.0190 or stop by one of our branch locations for more information.
