Your paycheck or Social Security check can be deposited directly into your regular Savings or Checking Account. The deposit is made automatically, no matter where you are on payday eliminating a trip to the credit union and reducing the chance that it will be lost or stolen.

To establish direct deposit contact your company's Payroll or the Treasury department, whichever is applicable, or call the credit union.

Through TAPS, you have access to all of your credit union accounts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Just by dialing the TAPS phone number, (832) 201-0190 or (800) 256-5918, you can:

• Transfer funds

• Have a check mailed to you

• Verify that a check has cleared

• Make a loan payment

• Obtain information on all of your Transtar FCU accounts

A personal identification number will be assigned to you for secured access to your account.

For your convenience, books of postage stamps can be purchased from a Transtar FCU member service representative for $12.00 anytime during normal business hours.

Transtar FCU can electronically transfer funds to another financial institution for immediate credit. We can also receive wire transfers. Come by the credit union office or fax your request to (832) 201-0189 before 2:00 p.m. Be sure to verify the wiring instructions and account number for the institution receiving the funds. Proper identification is required before funds will be wired from a credit union account. Fee per transfer: $20.00 outgoing United States; $35.00 outgoing international.

A notary service is available to Transtar FCU members, at no cost, anytime during normal business hours. Just remember to bring your driver’s license and remember not to sign the document that is being notarized.
